basiQ

December 2011, Bandung, Indonesia – Kuassa is proud to announce the release of basiQ. basiQ is an acronym for Baxandall Simulation Equalizer, a FREE 3-band equalizer plugin with photorealistic graphics from Kuassa, Inc.

As the name implies, the engine are modeled after a design of classic baxandall equalizer well known for its smooth shelves and natural-sounding responses, similar to the tone control on a hi-fi systems. This straightforward equalizer are well-suited for mixing or mastering purpose although the neutral characteristics of basiQ are more suitable as a sweetening device or giving some transparent tilt to your mix rather than a surgical device, best paired on master output with Kratos Maximizer, another audio processing plugin from Kuassa, Inc.

Kuassa Amplifikation Lite, free version of Kuassa’s upcoming guitar amp software plugin for windows will be available soon for Macintosh users.

Kuassa Amplifikation Lite‘s engine is based on Kuassa Amplifikation One‘s Custom Amp, one of the Guitar Amp Models in the upcoming Guitar Amp Software Suite by Kuassa, Inc.  Kuassa Amplifikation Lite for Mac will be compatible on any VST compatible host or sequencer running in MacOS 10.4 or later.

We’re still currently working on the alpha-testing for the Macintosh version and will be available for free download soon. Please download the Windows VST version instead
